Variety is reporting that Archie Yates from Jojo Rabbit will be playing the lead role in the Disney+ Home Alone reboot. Yates will not be playing Kevin McCallister though. He will be portraying a new character for the film.

Ellie Kemper, who recently played Kimmy Schmidt from the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Rob Delaney from Catastrophe will also star in the remake.
Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell from Saturday Night Live will be handling the script while Dan Mazer (Dirty Grandpa, Da Ali G Show) will be directing.
