Survivor Stock Ticker: Episode Three

By John Powell – Binge News

Well, Rome was right about one thing. He wasn’t the first one from Lavo going home. Despite his “animated” personality which is wearing on his tribemates Rome played his idol. He really didn’t have to though as Sol was the only one to cast a vote for him. Rome is a massive target in the game but will he be able to maneuver his way through like Tony Vlachos and other larger-than-life Survivor personalities have in the past? That remains to be seen.

Sue continued her odd tirade and vendetta against the men on Tuku when there is no gender war going on there. She is allied with Gabe. TK and Kyle were aligned with Tiyana until TK got the big boot. The only men versus women feud is in her own mind. Her story seems to be another case of someone bringing their own real-life biases into the game and not leaving them at the door. She is not giving everyone a chance to prove if they are faithful, trustworthy or not. Could that be a mistake? We shall soon see.

Sam and Anika are clashing more and more. As two alphas they both think they should be leading Gata. Something will have to give sooner or later. I cannot wait for their eventual showdown at Tribal Council.

On with this week’s Survivor Stock Ticker:

Lavo is divided into duos with Aysha and Sol, Teeny and Kishan, Genevieve and Rome. Teeny and Kishan though are the pair stuck in the middle that everyone wanted to work with or pull on their side. Aysha didn’t do anything horrendous. She got the cards she was dealt and couldn’t make any headway with Genevieve or Rome.

Gabe is ruling the roost at Tuku. He is everyone’s ‘goto guy’. I suspect it will be him making the decisions about who goes and who stays.

Who would have thunk it based on his Survivor journey so far but Andy has been able to turn his game around with the help of Sam and Sierra. He could be the Cinderella story of the season if he maintain his positive momentum.

One gets the feeling that Sue is rocking the boat too hard at Tuku. She could be paving the way for her own exit like TK did.

He still has another advantage, however, patience is wearing thin at Lavo.

Who’s next to go?

Andy is aligning with Sierra and Sam which means Anika is in their sights. She could turn things around though if can flip Andy to her and Rachel’s side.

He lost his duo partner this week. Not to be the easy out he needs to latch onto one of the other couples at Lavo. If he cannot, he is done.

She might become a paranoid liability at Tuku.
