As we head into the two-episode Survivor finale as they are calling it, Andy has done it again. The dude who was worried about people liking him and being able to chop a coconut without lopping his hand off at the start has taken over the game. What does that say about the players who are left or what does that say about Andy’s gameplay? I will let you decide.
All that I know is that a lot of those players who thought they had the game in the bag and were even bragging about it, had the smile wiped clean off their faces at tribal council when Operation: Italy was a total success. You just know that next week as the episode begins they will be shaking in fear and outrage back at camp. It serves them right. It is one thing to take control of the game and be discrete, modest and respectful about it. It is quite another to laugh and bash others behind their backs at camp or in front of their faces at tribal council. The Universe has a way of balancing the scales.
On with this week’s Survivor Stock Ticker:

They couldn’t take a shot at Rachel so it made sense to push ahead with the campaign against Tuku removing the third tribe member in a row. There isn’t too much to say about Caroline’s game. She was loyal to Sue and Gabe, her social game seemed decent enough, I guess. She just wasn’t a standout player.

Rachel saves her own game by winning immunity. This will give her enough time to pave her way to the end and solidify those alliances she needs to get her through.

Another plan of Andy’s is carried out flawlessly. The problem is the group is far too small now and everyone will know who masterminded this.

There isn’t much wiggle room left or Hail Marys left for her. Her support system is very, very limited.

The issue for him is, well, we heard it from the jury themselves. “Andy flipped again.” If he does make it to the final tribal he might not be rewarded and seen as a disloyal player.

Who’s next to go?

Operation: Italy was one bridge too far for Andy. One could argue that some of the others betrayed him first. When everyone heads back to camp though Teeny, Sue and Rachel will not be pleased, feel as if they were portrayed as fools. Sam and Genevieve will assuredly be all to happy to offer Andy up as a sacrifice going into the finale.
