Just when the Survivors thought they knew all the answers, the producers changed the questions. For all intents and purposes, this season of Survivor USA is seeing an end game that is more on par with Australian Survivor. Instead of the core alliance or a majority motoring through, the producers are shaking things up by shuffling the players around and doing much the same with Tribal Council. Last week, we saw the Lewatu Tribe divided into two teams competing for immunity, reward and the last player standing gaining an advantage which turned out to be going to the losing group during tribal and casting a vote or banking it for an extra vote.
This week there are TWO immunity necklaces up for grabs. Are there just two or is one for a female and one for a male?
Like Australian Survivor, the idea is to mix the alliances up to heighten the drama and make the end game far more unpredictable. As a player, that would piss me off in the sense that one wonders if all the hard work put into one’s strategic and social game was worth it when the tribal politics are in flux all the time due to the tribal and immunity twists.
The trio of Savannah, Rizo and Sofi have a lot of power in the game. If used correctly, they could flip things in their favour but I think it will take more than advantages to turn things around. They are going to have to convince others to jump the fence. Sophi could bring Alex along but they will need others, perhaps Kristina since she has a bond that goes beyond the game with Sophi? If so, Kristine also has an idol to add to the group’s arsenal.
Tonight we will see:

Next Time On Survivor: “If You’re Loyal to All, You’re Loyal to None” – Upon the losing group’s return from tribal, the remaining castaways are in utter disbelief after learning who was sent home. Stakes increase for this week’s immunity challenge when two immunity necklaces are up for grabs. Then, one player’s not-so-hidden immunity idol comes into focus during this week’s tribal council.
On with this week’s Survivor Stock Ticker:

Sometimes it only takes one mistake to lose Survivor and MC made a big blunder. She put Jawan’s game before her own, put her trust in him and he did what was best for his game in the end not hers.

Rizo worked like a madman last episode and he appears to be taking control of the game this episode. His “not-so-hidden immunity idol” will likely be the one in question during tribal council.

Survivor is a game of trust and Jawan proved again he is willing to betray those who think or want to be his ally.

Who’s next to go?

His aggressive gameplay last episode showed he cannot be trusted, could flip at any moment and solidified his status as a target with Rizo, Savannah and Sofi.
