The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, the series that birthed the television teen drama genre, is celebrating its 60th anniversary on Shout Factory TV!
The marathon is hosted by David Martel (The Adventures Of Pete & Pete) and will feature new original segments, “Birth Of The Teen Series,” that explain the impact Dobie Gillis had on the teen genre.
The series starred Dwayne Hickman as Gillis, Gilligan’s Island’s Bob Denver as Maynard G. Krebs, Warren Beatty as Milton Armitage and Tuesday Weld as Thalia Menninger.
