Daredevil’s run might not be done.
According to several industry sources, including Cosmic Book News, the Marvel series could be rebooted and be moving to FX now that Disney has purchased the channel.
Lords of the Long Box on Twitter are going one step further saying that Disney wants to connect all of their properties and many of the Marvel “street heroes” on Netflix will be heading to FX.
A rumoured new series would be Heroes for Hire featuring Iron Fist and Luke (Power Man) Cage and the Defenders possibly making a return.
In February of this year Netflix cancelled The Punisher and Jessica Jones, the last two Marvel series left on the streaming service.
Netflix told Deadline at the time that they were “grateful to Marvel for five years of our fruitful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have followed these series from the beginning.”
Since its cancellation, Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Kingpin in the series, has told fans he is working behind the scenes to save the show.
