Disney+ conjuring up Hocus Pocus sequel

Which witch is which?

It is being reported by Collider that Disney+ is working on a sequel to the cult classic Hocus Pocus.

The problem is nobody is sure if the original witches will be returning or if the boomsticks will be passed along to some fresh faces.

In the original 1993 film, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy starred as the Sanderson Sisters who are resurrected by a new kid in town, Max (Omri Katz).

Mick Garris, who is also known for Critters 2: The Main Course, The Fly II, wrote the film along with Neil Cuthbert.

Collider says that Jen D’Angelo will be scripting the new movie. D’Angelo worked on the series Workaholics and produced the series Happy Together.

The original Hocus Pocus will be available on Disney+ when it launches in Canada and the United States on November 12th.
