Another Life is getting another life.
The sci-fi drama starring Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) is being granted a second season despite poor reviews.
Filming begins in Vancouver, Canada in 2020 and 10 episodes will be shot.
Sackoff shared the news with her followers on Twitter.
Another Life follows astronaut Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff) and her crew as they investigate the origins of an alien monolith that has found its way to Earth.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Another Life has a 6% critics score and a 61% audience score.
