While the latest chapter in the Star Wars saga may be one of the most talked about shows of 2019 it still lagging behind the kids of Hawkins, Indiana and Titan Towers in popularity.
According to Parrot Analytics, which analyses the demand for shows around the world by analyzing social media, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms, Netflix’s Stranger Things is still in the number one slot for the week of November 10th to 16th. Stranger Things was followed by Titans, The Mandalorian, Castle Rock, Lucifer and Atypical.
The Boys, Bojack Horseman, Good Omens and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance fill out the top ten.
Although it entered the chart with a very strong debut, The Mandalorian garnered less than 40% of the demand that Stranger Things secured.
Stranger Things had held onto the top spot for 21 weeks now and it is interesting to also note that no Apple+ show has managed to crack the top ten.
Parrot Analytics believes that this strong chart entry may be a sign that the popularity of The Mandalorian could rise.
It should be noted that Parrot Analytics examines the popularity of a particular show not how many actual views it has received.
