New Twilight Zone season to star Community veterans, feature Peele story

Despite mixed reviews of the first season, Jordan Peele’s version of the Twilight Zone is returning to the CBS All-Access streaming service for a second season some time this year with some big name stars.

Confirmed are Morena Baccarin (DeadPool, Gotham, V, Firefly), Ethan Embry (Sneaky Pete), Jenna Elfman (Fear the Walking Dead, Dharma & Greg), Gillian Jacobs (Love, Community), Joel McHale (Community) and Daniel Sunjata (Manifest, Graceland, Rescue Me, Grey’s Anatomy).

Ethan Embry also starred in Time Lapse an episode of the 2002 Twilight Zone series which was hosted by Forest Whitaker.

Peele has written an episode for the second seasons as well called Downtime.

Written by Emily C. Chang and Sara Amini

Besides the groundbreaking original series hosted and produced by Rod Serling, the series also made a comeback in 1985 and 2002. There was also a feature-length movie in 1983.
