Those who grew up in the eighties have fond memories of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories show.
Amazing Stories ran from 1985 to 1987 and was an anthology series with a different story being told every week. The stories ranged from horror to sci-fi with episodes directed by a who’s who of horror and fantasy including Steven Spielberg himself, Burt Reynolds, Danny DeVito, Tom Holland, Mick Garris, Robert Zemeckis, Nick Castle, Tobe Hooper, Joe Dante, Martin Scorsese, Paul Bartel and Timothy Hutton.
Amazing Stories won five Emmy Awards even though its ratings were nothing to write home about.
The new revival launches on March 6th on AppleTV+ with Steven Spielberg returning as a producer.
