Detective Kurt Wallander will be on the case again soon.
Netflix has announced that they have greenlighted the series for another season. It is not known when that season will be produced or when it will air.
Young Wallander is a reimagining of the classic film and television series following the career of the Swedish police detective Kurt Wallander.
Netflix describes the series as “Based on the best selling Kurt Wallander novels by Henning Mankell, a modern reimagining of the legendary detective, Kurt Wallander, who must navigate the increasingly violent environment of present-day Sweden. When he is unable to save a teenager from a gruesome attack, Wallander must learn to cope with his guilt in order to solve the crime.”
The series stars Adam Pålsson (Kurt Wallander), Richard Dillane (Superintendent Hemberg), Leanne Best (Frida Rask), Ellise Chappell (Mona), Yasen Atour (Reza), Charles Mnene (Bash), Jacob Collins-Levy (Karl-Axel Munck), Alan Emrys (Gustav Munck) and Kiza Deen (Mariam).
