Despite some complaints about the way the French are portrayed from some viewers, Netflix’s Emily in Paris will be coming back for a second season.
Netflix made the announcement via a fictional memo from the Savior agency in the series.

In the show Lily Collins plays Emily Cooper, a marketing executive who becomes a fish out of water when she moves to Paris, France. Netflix describes the series as “Emily, an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company — and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily’s new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances.”
It is not known when the second series will drop on Netflix.
