Solos is coming to Prime Video. It will star Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway and Helen Mirren, Uzo Aduba, Nicole Beharie, Anthony Mackie, Dan Stevens and Constance Wu. Amazon describes the series as “Solos is a dramatic and thought-provoking seven-part anthology series that explores the deeper meaning of human connection, as explored through the lens of the individual. Solos will tell unique character-driven stories, each from a different perspective and moment in time, that illuminate that even during our most seemingly isolated moments, in the most disparate of circumstances, we are all connected through the human experience.” Courtesy Deadline.
Christopher Pike’s book The Midnight Club is being made into a series on Netflix. The series will have 10 episodes and will be written by Mike Flanagan who wrote The Haunting of Bly Manor, the screenplay for the Shining sequel Doctor Sleep and The Haunting of Hill House Netflix series among other supernatural horror movies and shows. The original book was about a group of terminally ill teens who get together to tell scary stories. The series will star Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter and Sauriyan Sapkota. Courtesy Deadline.
