There is no more Yanu. There is no more Nami. There is no more Siga. Our castaways have sort of, kind of, merged with Ben, Hunter, Kenzie, Q, Tevin, Tim and Tiffany being the first to exit the “mergatory” state by winning the reward/immunity challenge on the Cancel Christmas episode. The rest faced the tribal council vote. Everyone except for Charlie voted for Moriah to hit the road. He voted for Venus.
Venus ain’t too happy about that either:
The way the tribal politics are now there are Four Siga (Charlie, Maria, Ben and Tim), five Nami (Venus, Tevin, Soda, Liz and Hunter) and three Yanu in Kenzie, Q and Tiffany. Those battle lines appear not to mean a whole lot though. With two players being voted out next week we will be able to see where lines in the sand are drawn and have a better understanding of the tribal politics at play as we head into the second phase of the game.
On with this week’s Survivor Stock Ticker:

Nami got their way this week sending the program coordinator home. The castaways just couldn’t trust her after she wasn’t totally honest about the Siga vote and she made it known that she was indeed a super fan of the show. Still, last night’s boot came out of nowhere with Moriah not being on anyone’s radar.

She is still being consulted quite a lot by the others. She still has a lot of sway but when does she and her influence become a threat to the others?

A soon as the three tribes became one Q was on the move solidifying allies and the vote. Could it have been too much too soon? I guess we will find out next week.

Like Q, Tim was at the center of the action pulling some strings. I don’t think that means he has made advances in the game though as far as the pecking order is concerned. Ben, Charlie and Maria are still the solid Siga trio with Charlie being closer to Maria than anyone else.

Tim remains an easy out for any member of Siga. I would suspect the game will move away from those tribal alliances a tad. Instead, easy outs and threats to everyone will be the course of action for those moving forward.

He could have made himself a target with all of his so very public “rallying of the troops” this week.

Venus could be in the same boat Q is in. Instead of waiting to see how the things fall into place at the merge tribe she was all over the place.

Who’s next to go?

Tim remains an easy out for any member of Siga. I would suspect the game will move away from those tribal alliances a tad. Instead, easy outs and threats to everyone will be the course of action for those moving forward.

She is still on Tevin’s radar and talk about her is spreading throughout camp. Her Survivor hour glass may be running out of sand sooner rather than later.

One has to think that all of his very public and very visible moves this will heighten the threat he presents to the other castaways.
