According to Deadline, the UK’s Sexy Beast series is getting a Netflix revamp in the United States.
In the UK reality show, dating series, eligible singles and three suitors get special effects makeovers and are transformed into animals or mythical creatures. The suitor then goes on a date with each “Sexy Beast”.
When a suitor is eliminated they remove their mask to reveal their true identity. The winner is the last ‘Beast’ standing. That person wins a second date with the eligible single.
The Netflix series will feature 12 episodes. There is no word on when production will start or when the series will air.
The UK series had only one season in 2014 but was adapted and broadcast on A&E in the USA, Germany and Korea.
